The trip typically starts in the morning with a pickup from your hotel in Luxor. Dendera and Abydos are two ancient Egyptian temples located on the Nile River. They are both important archaeological sites, and they are popular tourist destinations.
A day trip to Dendera and Abydos is a great way to experience some of the most important archaeological sites in Egypt. The temples are both located in the Nile Valley, so they are relatively easy to reach from Luxor.
At the exact pickup time, you will be met by our tour guide to pick you up from your accommodation.
A modern private A/C vehicle will drive you directly to the Abydous temple, which is dedicated to the god Osiris and is the site of his tomb. The temple is also home to a number of other tombs, including the tomb of Seti I.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
The drive from Abydous to the second visit to Dendera Temple is dedicated to the goddess Hathor, and it is one of the most well-preserved temples in Egypt. The temple is decorated with beautiful reliefs and hieroglyphs, and it is a fascinating example of ancient Egyptian art.
Later, you will be driven back to your accommodations.
