Day1
arrival at Cairo International Airport
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will be on-site to assist you. Our representative will then escort you to your hotel and ensure your comfortable transfer. Our representative will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding your stay in Cairo and provide you with helpful local tips. Upon arriving at your hotel, our representative will make sure that you are checked in and comfortable before leaving. With our representative providing you with high quality service, you will be sure to have a safe and pleasant journey to your hotel.
Day 2
Ancient Pyramid Tour
- • Start your morning in the ancient city of Cairo with a delicious breakfast served at your hotel.
• The tour guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to marvel at one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramids of Giza. Get a unique view of the plateau by walking or taking a camel over to the iconic Sphinx and Valley Temple.
• After your pyramids visit, you’ll go for a traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant.
• Head over to the Saqqara area to visit the first pyramid ever built — the Pyramid of King Djoser.
• Then proceed to visit the Red Pyramid at Dahshour, well known as a royal necropolis in Egypt.
• You will be taken to your hotel for leisure and overnight.
Day 3
Cairo Heritage Tour
- • Breakfast at the hotel is the perfect way to start the day.
• You will be picked up to visit the Egyptian Museum, where you can relish magnificent ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures.
• Then you will be taken to Old Cairo, a great place to explore Egypt’s fascinating past. The Citadel of Saladin, built in 1176 by Saladin as a defensive fortress, now houses several museums and monuments.
• You will also visit the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, built in the early 19th century by the ruler of Egypt and Sudan.
• Lunch will be served at an Egyptian local restaurant.
• Continue to Islamic Cairo to explore the vibrant, treasure-filled alleys of Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s oldest bazaar.
• You’ll also visit The Hanging Church, a Coptic Christian church built in the 8th century CE, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in Cairo, located in the Jewish Quarter and in continuous use for over 1,000 years.
• After the visits, you will be transferred back to the hotel for overnight.
Day 4
Transfer to Luxor
- • After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport to fly to Luxor.
• Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, our representative will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel, where you will be able to quickly check-in.
• Spend the day at leisure and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5
Luxor Cruise Kickoff
• After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up and assisted by our representative and transferred to the Nile cruise, where you will stay and rest for a while after a smooth check-in.
• A rich lunch buffet will be served on board.
• Our tour guide will pick you up for an afternoon visit to the magnificent Karnak Temple, an ancient Egyptian complex of temples at Thebes, regarded as the greatest example of Pharaonic architecture in Egypt and a beloved tourist attraction. Then, you will visit Luxor Temple, built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III and Ramses II, containing many monuments and unique representations of Ancient Egyptian gods.
• Dinner on board and overnight on the Nile cruise.
Day 6
Luxor West Bank
- • Breakfast will be lovely served on board.
• Our tour guide will pick you up and take you to the Western Bank, with its fascinating sights and histories. Here, you will have a guided tour of the Valley of the Kings (Three tombs included), dating from the 16th to 11th centuries BC, and site of some of Tutankhamun’s treasures.
• You will also visit Hatshepsut Temple, built by Pharaoh Hatshepsut in the 15th century BC and dedicated to the sun god Amun.
• Finally, your tour brings you to the Colossi of Memnon, a pair of towering statues that marked the entrance to Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple.
• Back to the Nile cruise and lunch will be served on board.
• Enjoy the magnificent ancient Nile River as you sail from Luxor to Esna.
• Dinner will be served on board and overnight.
• Later, the tour guide will join you on the sun-deck while you observe how the cruise passes the lock of Esna, explaining the details of this operation.
Day 7
Temples of Edfu & Kom Ombo
- • Early morning breakfast on board will set you up for the fantastic day ahead at the Temple of Edfu. Located on the west bank of the Nile, the temple was built in honor of Horus by the Ptolemaic dynasty in 57 BC, and is the most well-preserved of all the ancient Egyptian temples.
• You'll be picked up by a horse-drawn carriage and your tour guide will explain all the details of the temple.
• You'll return on board and take a leisurely cruise to Kom Ombo, enjoying a delicious lunch while admiring the vistas along the Nile River.
• The late afternoon stop at Kom Ombo will be a cultural highlight. The temple, built during the Ptolemaic Dynasty, has a twin design honoring both the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus.
• Your tour guide will take you through the architectural wonders of this historic site, including its court, offering chamber, vestibule, and reliefs.
• You'll board the ship again, dinner will be served, and the cruise will sail to Aswan, regarded as the most beautiful city of the Nile.
Day 8
Aswan Highlights
- • Start your journey to Aswan with a delicious breakfast onboard.
• You will be picked up to see one of the city's major highlights, the High Dam. Built in the 1960s on the Nile River, the dam increases agricultural production and protects the country from floods.
• After admiring this marvel of engineering, you will have the chance to cross the Nile to visit Philae Temple. This ancient complex is filled with structures and monuments dedicated to gods like Isis and Hathor, making it the ideal place to understand aspects of ancient Egyptian civilization.
• You will be back onboard to enjoy a delicious dinner and stay for the night.
Day 9
Abu Simbel Option
- • With the possibility of an optional trip to Abu Simbel, you will start your day with a delicious breakfast on board as you take in the sights and sounds of a stunning Nile cruise.
• Our representative will be met to manage the check-out and transfer you to your hotel in Aswan, where you will spend the day at leisure and overnight.
Day 10
Departure flight.
- • Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
• Spend leisure time with the possibility for any activity in Cairo until our representative meets you to transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
