Day1
arrival at Cairo International Airport
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will be on-site to assist you. Our representative will then escort you to your hotel and ensure your comfortable transfer. Our representative will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding your stay in Cairo and provide you with helpful local tips. Upon arriving at your hotel, our representative will make sure that you are checked in and comfortable before leaving. With our representative providing you with high quality service, you will be sure to have a safe and pleasant journey to your hotel.
Day 2
Egyptian Museum& Islamic Cairo
- • Start your morning in the ancient city of Cairo with a delicious breakfast served at your hotel.
• The tour guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to marvel at one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramids of Giza. Get a unique view of the plateau by walking or taking a camel over to the iconic Sphinx and Valley Temple.
• You’ll be taken for a traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant.
• Then head over to the Egyptian Museum to relish magnificent ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures. Afterward, you’ll be driven through Old Cairo to the historic Islamic Cairo area to explore the vibrant, meandering, treasure-filled alleys of Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s oldest bazaar.
• You will be transferred back to your hotel to rest and overnight.
Day 3
Old Cairo
- • Breakfast at the hotel is the perfect way to start the day.
• You will be picked up to visit the Church of the Virgin Mary in Ma'adi, a magnificent structure built in the 4th century AD, showcasing Byzantine and Coptic architecture.
• Then you will visit The Hanging Church, a Coptic Christian church built in the 8th century CE in Old Cairo, and also St. Sergius Church, linked to one of the most influential figures of the early Coptic Church, a monk of the Nitrian Desert.
• Lunch will be served at an Egyptian local restaurant.
• Proceed to visit the Church of St. George and the Fortress of Babylon, one of the oldest structures in Cairo, reflecting the city’s rich cultural history.
• Return to the hotel to spend another night in Cairo.
Day 4
Cairo's churches
- After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up to start your visit to Cairo's churches.
- Your first stop will be at The Church of El Matariya, which is a beautiful and important place of worship that has been a part of the city's history for centuries. Located in the heart of the Cairo, the church is a place of great spiritual significance for the Coptic Christian community.
- Then you will be taken to visit The Church of the Virgin Mary in Zeiton area, which is an iconic landmark in the city. Built in the late 19th century, the church boasts an impressive façade of Mediterranean-style architecture, and its intricately-carved stone walls and ornate stained glass windows are a sight to behold.
- You will be driven back to the hotel for one more night in Cairo.
Day 5
Cairo's churches
After breakfast at the hotel, the tour guide will pick you up to visit Mostorad, also known as "El Mahamaah", meaning "the bathing place" where Virgin Mary bathed the child Jesus and washed his clothes.
Your second stop will be at the village of Meniet Samanoud, where its locals welcomed the Holy Family with love and warmth, which made Christ pay it back with blessings and hallowed its water spring in return.
Lunch boxes will be served during the trip.
Your last visit of the day will be to the Church of the Virgin Mary that preserves a rock with the footprints of the child Jesus.
At the end, you will be transferred to the hotel and overnight.
Day 6
Biblical and Ancient Wonders
- • Breakfast will be lovely served at the hotel.
• Our tour guide will pick you up and take you to Tel-Basta, the town of Babastis where Jesus causes the flow of a spring of water to drink.
• Your next stop will be at the ancient city of Tanis in Egypt, a fascinating archaeological site, located in the eastern Nile Delta. It is believed to have been founded in the early 19th century BC, and was once the capital of Egypt during the 21st dynasty.
• Lunch will be served at a high-quality local restaurant.
• Finally, you will visit the small museum, Ramses Temple, and the royal tombs.
• You will be taken to your hotel in Cairo and overnight.
Day 7
Monastic & Holy Family Route
- • After breakfast at the hotel, you will check-out and drive south along the Red Sea coast to visit the Monasteries of St. Anthony and St. Paul. The two ancient sites are among the most important religious sites in the world, and both monasteries are renowned for their serene atmosphere and their reverence for the teachings of Jesus Christ. Together, they offer a unique glimpse into the history and culture of the region and provide a haven of peace and solace to those who visit.
• Then you will be driven to Upper Egypt to proceed with the Holy Family trip, and you will visit Jabal Al Tair (Birds Mountain) to see the cave where the Holy Family rested.
• Then you will be taken to your hotel in El-Minya and overnight.
Day 8
Ancient Minya & Necropolis Tour
- • Breakfast will be served at the hotel, before you start a day of sightseeing in Tuna el Gabal. Located in the Egyptian city of Minya, Tuna el Gabal is an ancient necropolis filled with tombs and monuments from the Late Period of Ancient Egyptian history.
• Then you will be driven to visit Al Ashmunien, an ancient Egyptian archaeological site located in the Egyptian Delta, on the eastern side of the Nile River. It dates back to the Late Period during the reign of Pharaoh Psamtik III (664–610 BC).
• You will also visit Beni Hasan, the site of an ancient Egyptian necropolis used during the Middle Kingdom period (2040–1650 BC) by nomadic people of the region. The site is known for its many tombs, built for local rulers, offering a wealth of insight into life in ancient Egypt.
• Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
• Later, you will be driven to Assuit, where you will smoothly check-in the hotel and overnight.
Day 9
Spiritual & Cultural Day
- • Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
• Then you will head to visit the Al Muharraq Monastery in Assuit city. The monastery was built in the 5th century and is known for its intricate historical and spiritual architecture, where the Holy Family lived for about 6 months before receiving the divine message to return to Palestine.
• Then you will head to Meir Village, known for its colorful markets filled with local handicrafts and souvenirs, as well as well-preserved tombs belonging to nobles and rulers during the 6th and 12th dynasties.
• After lunch at an Egyptian local restaurant, you will be driven back to Cairo, where you will rest at your hotel and overnight.
Day 10
Departure flight.
- • Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
• Spend leisure time with the possibility for any activity in Cairo until our representative meets you to transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
