Embark on a spiritual and historical pilgrimage to St. Catherine’s Monastery, nestled at the foot of Mount Sinai where Moses is said to have received the Ten Commandments. This UNESCO World Heritage Site in the heart of the Sinai Peninsula offers a breathtaking blend of Biblical history, ancient architecture, and stunning desert landscapes.
About 10:00 p.m., our representative will be at your accommodation in Sharm El-Shiekh to pick you up.
Within about 3 hours, the vehicle will reach St. Catherine.
Upon arrival, you will start your day tour by climbing Moses Mountain at about 2:00 a.m., which will end at 7:00 a.m.
The second visit will be to St. Catherine Monastery, which is a stunning display of beauty and faith. It is the oldest continually operating monastery in the world, built in the late 5th century. It is a unique combination of Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic faith and culture, as it has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Then you will have the opportunity to enjoy the sunset from atop Moses' Mountain.
The desert cruiser will pick you up from the village and bring you back to your accommodation.
Drive to Dahab for some leisure and the possibility of doing some shopping in the local market.
Drive back to your accommodation in Sharm El-Shiekh.
