Local teamOverview
M/Y Alyssa is a smaller motor yacht working the Luxor–Aswan itinerary, which gives the sailing days a quieter feel than the larger ships tied up alongside her at Edfu and Kom Ombo. The four night programme runs upstream from Luxor and the three night programme downstream from Aswan, both full board, both with an Egyptologist guiding the temple visits. Because the vessel is small, cabins go early on the winter dates — that season runs through the cooler months when Upper Egypt is at its most comfortable for the long west bank mornings. Summer sailings are considerably cheaper and start before dawn to keep the sightseeing ahead of the heat.

A smooth and memorable Nile journey
We enjoyed the 4 Nights Nile Cruise with Abu Simbel and found the schedule easy to follow. The balance between time on board and sightseeing at Luxor Temple worked very well. We would happily recommend this experience to friends visiting Egypt.
Very good experience with small room for improvement
We chose the 5 Days Nile Cruise Luxor to Aswan for our first visit and were very pleased. The balance between time on board and sightseeing at the Aswan riverfront worked very well. It was a memorable part of our holiday and good value for the itinerary.
