M/S Chateau Lafayette covers the same Luxor to Aswan route as the rest of the fleet and is the most affordable of the ships on this page, which makes it the one we suggest most often to travellers fitting a cruise into a wider Egypt itinerary. Four nights upstream from Luxor, or three nights downstream from Aswan, full board in both directions. The saving is in the fare rather than the programme: the temple visits, the guide and the meals are the same as on the vessels above it. If you are travelling as three, the triple cabin on the summer dates is the cheapest way to sail this route that we sell.

Very good experience with small room for improvement
We enjoyed the 4 Nights Nile Cruise with Abu Simbel and found the schedule easy to follow. The balance between time on board and sightseeing at Luxor Temple worked very well. We would happily recommend this experience to friends visiting Egypt.
