The Soleil is a five-star ship sailing the Luxor–Aswan stretch of the Nile, and it runs the route in two lengths: five days and four nights going upstream from Luxor, or four days and three nights coming down from Aswan. Which one you take decides the price more than anything else does.
Prices on this page are quoted two ways, and the difference matters. The table below gives the cost of a cabin. What you pay as one of two people sharing that cabin is half of it: from USD 1,050 each for the four-day sailing in summer, or USD 1,350 each for the five-day. That is USD 350 per person per night on the four-day sailing and a little under it on the five-day, full board either way.
That covers the cabin, all meals on board, and the guided visits at every stop — Karnak and Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut, Edfu and Kom Ombo, the High Dam and Philae. Winter sailings, from October to April, cost more because that is when the weather is worth paying for.

Are the prices in the table per person or per cabin?
Per cabin. A double cabin at USD 2,100 is USD 1,050 each for two people sharing. Single occupancy costs more per person because one traveller carries the whole cabin — that is why the single rate is not simply half the double.
What is included in the price?
The cabin, full board — every meal on the ship — the guided sightseeing at each stop with entrance fees, and transfers. Tipping and anything you buy off the ship are not included.
Why do winter sailings cost more?
October to April is high season in Upper Egypt: daytime temperatures are comfortable for walking around Karnak and the Valley of the Kings, where summer runs well above 40°C. The winter rate is roughly double the summer one, and the table on this page gives both.
Is the four-day or the five-day sailing better?
They cover the same temples; the five-day runs Luxor to Aswan and the four-day runs the other way. Choose by which city you are flying into and out of rather than by the sightseeing, because that is the only real difference.
