Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to the awe-inspiring temples of Abu Simbel, traveling through the mesmerizing Saharan desert by comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. This early morning expedition takes you deep into Nubian territory, where the colossal statues of Ramses II guard the entrance to one of Egypt’s most magnificent monuments, carved directly into the mountain over 3,000 years ago.
Tour Plan

Early in the morning, you will be met by our tour guide at your accommodation and taken in a private vehicle.

Your vehicle will join the convoy and will be driven south for about 3 hours.

Upon arrival, you will be learned about the magnificent temple, which is known for its four colossal statues of Ramesses II that stand at the entrance to the temple. The statues are each about 20 meters (66 feet) tall, and they are carved directly from the rock cliff. The temple is also decorated with beautiful reliefs and hieroglyphs that depict the life and achievements of Ramesses II.
